Within the framework of the 2022 Sydney International Food and Beverage Exhibition in Australia, the Vietnam Commercial Office in Australia has been holding a promotion campaign for Vietnamese agricultural and fishery products from October 23 to 25 to introduce Vietnamese agricultural and fishery products to Australian consumers, reported Vietnam News Agency’s correspondent in Sydney.
Nguyen Phu Hoa, Chief Representative of the Vietnamese Commercial Office in Australia, said that in recent years, the export growth of Vietnamese goods, especially agricultural and aquatic products, to the Australian market has been impressive, showing the huge export potential in this field. To support Vietnamese enterprises and further play the role of a “bridge” between Vietnam and Australia, the Vietnam Commercial Office in Australia has been promoting Vietnamese agricultural and fishery products.
At the exhibition, the Vietnam Commercial Office’s booth promoted a wide range of products from Vietnam, including fresh fruits, spices, coffee, cashew nuts, processed foods, bagged tea, frozen seafood and some of Vietnam’s famous rice to many visitors.
In addition, while setting up a Vietnamese goods booth in Sydney, the Vietnam Commercial Office in Australia also held an international exhibition of Vietnamese goods on digital platforms from October 24 to October 30. Nguyen Phu Hoa stressed that the combination of both online and offline exhibition formats will create more opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to effectively reach Australian customers.
The Vietnamese goods booth and online exhibition activities are among the activities of the Vietnam Commodities Week, which is being carried out simultaneously by the Vietnam Commercial Office in Australia from October 23 to 30 at various locations in Australia.
It is reported that the Sydney International Food & Beverage Fair in Australia is one of the world’s largest annual exhibitions for the food and beverage industry.
