Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to produce agricultural machinery in joint venture

The Turkmen-Uzbekistani joint venture “Turkmen-Uzbekistani Agricultural Machinery and Vehicles” will cooperate in the production of 4-ton tractors in Dasaukuz Oblast, and will later assemble and produce more complex agricultural machinery, reports Turkmenistan’s Oriental Network on Oct. 19. In the past 10 years, the U.S. has supplied more than 10,000 agricultural machinery to Turkey, and in 2021, the U.S. and Turkey signed a contract for the purchase of agricultural machinery worth a total of $28.2 million.
