Tajikistan Asian Express news agency reported on July 12, Dushanbe, according to the Tajikistan Ministry of Agriculture, in the first half of 2022, the output of agricultural products in Tajikistan increased by 7.2% year-on-year, the output increase is obvious for fish, up 26.5%, eggs -24.5%, fruit -12.1%, chicken -11.5%, grapes -11.2%, watermelons and melons -7.6%, cereals -5.9%, and other agricultural products production increased by 2%-5%; agricultural products production was specified as more than 1,145 tons of fish, 576.1 million eggs, 116.3 thousand tons of fruits, 20.3 thousand tons of chicken, 2,400 tons of grapes, more than 283 thousand tons of watermelons and melons, 688 thousand tons of cereals.
At the same time, the production of silkworm cocoons decreased by 13.9% (378 tons) and honey production decreased by 4% (607 tons) year-on-year.
