Iran News Daily reported on November 14 that Iran and Belarus have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in the field of agriculture, and the trade and commercial relations between the two countries in the fields of agricultural products, horticulture, fisheries and aquaculture will be expanded. From January to September 2021, the total amount of food and agricultural products transactions between the two countries was US $8 million, an increase of 114.5% over the same period of the previous year. Belarus can supply grains, oilseeds, chicken, eggs and dairy products to the Iranian market, and Iran can meet Belarus’s demand for a variety of fish and seafood, fruits, vegetables and nuts.
