Foreign media news on May 18: Canadian officials said on Wednesday that China has lifted the restrictions on the import of Canadian rapeseed three years ago.
Canada has been informed that China has restored market access for two Canadian companies, Canadian Trade Minister Mary ng and agriculture minister Marie Claude bibeau said in a statement. Canada welcomes this decision.
In March 2019, the Chinese customs suspended the two companies’ eligibility to export rapeseed to China because pests were found in rapeseed shipments.
